Where can you surf in Tarifa?

In winter you can surf wherever in Spain. Therefore, the majority of the riders surf on Los Lances Beach right in the town. In summer the town beach is closed, and both kitesurfers and windsurfers move to the country beaches. Valdevaqueros Beach is considered to be the safest one. The wind always blows in-shore here, but there are a lot of chops. Los Lances Beach cannot but make glad. It is very broad and stretches for 7 km from Tarifa to the north. During Levante the surfing is a bit risky here, since the wind turns out to be offshore. It does not play any role for the trainees since the rescue service works well at the beach. The trainers know how to organize the lesson in order that the trainees feel themselves in comfortable and safe conditions. For surfing during Ponente the best way is to go to the beach by Arte Vida Hotel. During Levante it is better to go to Canios de Meca Beach.
